The latest window on Kent County history has debuted at the Historical Society of Kent County’s Bordley Center. Shipwrecks–what an interesting subject. Tales of history, tales of mystery–from sailboats to steamers– curated by Stephanie Gosman who has strikingly presented these intriguing stories for all to view. While easily viewed any time, the nighttime illumination is quite spectacular.
You can see the exhibit and tour the Bordley Center this Saturday, May 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This “soft opening” will be the first step in getting the museum and library back to a regular schedule.
“We’re sticking our toes back in the water and look forward to seeing all our friends and members,”Barbara Jorgenson, First Vice-President, said.
The Bordley Center is located at 201 High Street, Chestertown, MD. For more details visit kentcountyhistory.org or call 410-778-3499.
