The Maryland Health Department has reported a doubling of the confirmed cases of COVID-19 since last Thursday, including one case in neighboring Queen Anne’s County. On Saturday, health officials announced the death of a Montgomery County woman in her 40s with underlying health issues.

As of 10 a.m. Monday, Allegany, Dorchester and Kent are the only jurisdictions in Maryland without a reported case of COVID-19.
