Dear Readers,

2020 has been an exciting first year for The Kent Pilot.  Since we launched in March, we have gratefully welcomed a steady growth in readership.  It excites us that the public likes our daily news concept–that of delivering local news every weekday along with informative history lessons and some story telling.

When we started to organize late last February, we purposely chose the non-profit route and recruited a forward-thinking board of directors who all were committed to editorial independence without partisanship.

We appreciate our corporate and individual supporters that stepped up early to support our effort, and, now, we need your support, too, to ensure that the local free press survives in Kent County to chronicle the current events and remind us of our past.

It is easy.  Click on the Donate button.

Need a thoughtful holiday remembrance?  The Kent Pilot is a  no-cost email “stuffer” that  says “I want to keep you informed about issues and events in our community’s life.”

It too is easy.  Click on the Subscribe button.

The Kent Pilot is taking off between Christmas and New Years to recharge.

We wish you a Happy and Safe Holiday Season.

Best Regards,

Stephen Meehan, Publisher    Dan Menefee, Editor
