The Kent Pilot’s Steve Meehan and Dan Menefee interviewed Ted Landskroener at his home in late January. The interview provided a glimpse into the life of a member of the Greatest Generation. He was preparing for an invasion of Japan when President Harry S. Truman dropped atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Knowing his life was spared, he spent a lifetime giving back to his community.
