In recent years, the ESLC began a program to revitalize Eastern Shore towns through conservation.

Owen Bailey, a native of Chestertown, leads the ESLC Towns Project and he is also a member of the Chestertown Planning Commission.

In the seven-minute interview, Bailey discusses the ESLC’s current and future projects, including a plan that further connects Chestertown’s people, organizations and businesses through greater access to the town’s Rail-Trail project.
