June Mench Harn of Chestertown, MD died on Thursday, December 17 at Chester River Manor. She was 88.

She was born on May 25, 1932 in Rock Hall, MD — one of ten children of the late William C. and Ida Benton Mench. She attended school in Rock Hall and married Milton Edward “Buddy” Coleman of Rock Hall in October of 1949. They were married for 14 years. She raised her family in Rock Hall.

Mrs. Harn worked at Park Rug and Dry Cleaners, Washington College, and Lamotte Company where she retired in October of 2012.

She later married Verial “Bill” Harn in 1987, he predeceased her in December of 1996. Her family remembers her as a great storyteller. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, slots, playing ball, listening to Jim Reeves and Patsy Cline music, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters: Diana Long (Coley) of Chestertown, MD, Carolyn Jones (Chris) of Galena, MD, and Lori Wheeler (Len) of Chestertown MD, a son: Eddie Coleman (Darcy) of Cape Coral, FL along with six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Maryland Pinder, Betty Hynson Hall, Mae Clark, Helen Clift Jacquette, Virginia Clark, Jean Creighton, Carol Gorman, Ben Mench and Philip Mench.
