Randolph O’Dell Wilson of Chestertown, MD died on December 19, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Wilson was born on January 5, 1953, the son parents George and Beatrice Chambers Wilson. He graduated from Kent County High School, Class of 1971, where he excelled in baseball.
He then worked as a delivery driver for Stenger Gas Company. For the past 30 years, he worked with Dixon Valve & Coupling Company as a machinist. He retired in January of 2020.
Mr. Wilson enjoyed softball and shooting pool with the ATA Pool League on the Misfits. He also loved hunting and watching Sunday football with his great-niece.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Florence Towson and Louis Wilson.
He is survived by his daughter, Charmaine Wilson of Greensboro, MD; his girlfriend of over 20 years, Shirley Duckery; nieces Lisa Towson and Gwen Towson Walker; great-nieces and nephews DaShira Caulk, Steven Caulk, Jr., and Ritchie Walker, Jr.; and one great-great-nephew, Jamere Wright. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 30, with a visitation from 10 am – 12 pm and the funeral service directly following at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home in Chestertown.
