Chestertown is a wonderful community. As you know, Gov. Hogan has issued a stay-at-home order and we are now ever more isolated. I think the community needs a visible way to show our solidarity. Why don’t we put up our Christmas lights again so every night we can see our neighbors even from afar? A small gesture. Most folk already have holiday lights.
Remember “Tie a Yellow Ribbon” for the Iran Hostages? How about
Christmas lights in solidarity: we are hostages of a silent enemy.
