Al Fresco dining returns to The Kitchen at the Imperial.

With the oppressive heat of August hopefully behind us, Chestertown shops and galleries are planning on cooler temperatures to greet First Friday visitors September 4 for the kick off for Labor Day Weekend.

Most shops will be open until 7 p.m. To meet COVID-19 safety measures, no complimentary refreshments will be offered. Masks must be worn and social distancing practiced.

The Farmer’s Market will return to its very successful location on High Street between Cross and Queen Saturday morning. Also, you will find vendors on Memorial Plaza. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Masks and social distancing required.

“Chestertown al Fresco” dining continues this Saturday, September 5. This week enjoy the cuisine at the Kitchen at the Imperial at 208 High Street. Live music will be provided from the Imperial Hotel second floor balcony.

The event will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Call the Kitchen for reservations at 410-778-5000.
